International Hand Launch Glider Festival

Hard to fathom, but the 2026 International Hand Launch Glider Festival came and went. This marked the 31st International, and we were thrilled to welcome everyone back to Poway, California. It was wonderful to see old friends again and meet new ones. Thanks to a good amount of rain earlier in the year, the crop next to the field was higher than average, adding a little extra character to the site.

Over two exciting days, pilots enjoyed challenging tasks, good food, and world-class competition. Sign-ups were handled through the F3X Vault (see the scores there), and we were proud to have pilots registered from Germany, Canada, China, and the USA.
