Torrey Pines Gulls is proud to offer three prime locations for RC Glider soaring, sloping and hot air hunting:
- Poway Field; Home of the world famous “International Hand Launch Glider Festival” held each year during the spring, attracting the best DLG pilots from around the country and the world. Also, home to our monthly club DLG contests and bi-monthly F5J contests.
- Torrey Pines Glider Port in La Jolla California is perhaps the most famous and beautiful slope soaring site in the Nation. Nothing tops “Torrey” on a good day!
- Encinitas Field: Home to our club’s bi-monthly Thermal Duration contests and general TD fun flying.
